Creative Somatic Movement combines many modalities to create a safe space to feel, release, and expand within your soul so you can experience the most out of this human experience.
Our classes are designed to combine somatic movement, guided meditation, stretching, yoga, dancing, laughing, and connection within the group to create a safe space for your nervous system. In our world, we have so much distraction and everyone is always moving in a rush trying to get the next thing done. Humans are not meant to live with so much external pressure, it ends up creating distractions that remove us from the present moment.
This movement creates a space for you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, create a sense of real community and connection. Creative Somatic Movement personally has given me so much more time, freedom, and energy to experience life in the present moment and focus on the things that light up my human experience.
Somatic means to FEEL and have awareness for what is going on internally with our emotions, body and energy so we can move THROUGH it rather than focusing on what we look like or pretending we are “fine” when really there is something there that wants to be seen.
Our classes are mainly hosted outside so we can connect with our Earth. Putting your bare feet on the ground or Grounding is so beneficial for our health in all ways such as reducing inflammation, improving sleep, reduce stress, improve wound healing, and balancing your nervous system. Our planet is our medicine and our teacher. Our energy vibrates at the same frequency as the Earth: 7.83hz. The sunlight boosts serotonin. Water creates a sense of calm. Nature has so much beauty and shows us all of our ways of being.
Our events are intentionally created to enhance your connection to yourself and the environment around you. Come to an event and FEEL for yourself the love, safety, abundance, healing, release, sisterhood, connection, and joy.
